INDEPENDENT STUDY
Under our 490 and 690 headings of Independent Studies (3 Quarter Hours) a student can choose to do an independent research project in the areas of New Testament, Old Testament, or History. These courses allow the student to research a subject of their own choosing (approved by the professor) and to write an in depth research paper under the supervision and help of the professor. Apart from the knowledge one gains from doing this kind of research, one of the greatest benefits of this format is the direct personal access to the professional writing guidance of the teacher. For more information and eligibility, contact the Dean. All research papers are required to be written and formatted according to the guidelines of A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 6th Ed., by Kate L. Turabian.
Registration Deadline: January 1st.
